Usually, Club contributions for Rotary Foundation projects are matched on a 1:1 basis by the District, and again, on a .50:1 basis by The Rotary Foundation for a total of $2.50 for every Club dollar used to support a project. Because of the strong giving to the An- nual Fund by Rotarians in our District, the approval of two large Competitive Grant Awards, and partnerships with non-Rotary organizations, in the aggregate we have been able to achieve a matching leverage of $4.57 for every $1.00 our Clubs have provided for international humanitarian matching grant projects since mid-2009.
