Juvenile - under 17 years January 1, the year of competition. Junior - under 20 years January 1, the year of competition. Senior - over 19 years January 1, the year of competition. Master I - 40 years or older January 1, the year of competition. Master II - 50 years or older January 1, the year of competition. Master III - 60 years or older January 1, the year of competition.</p><p>** Masters / Seniors Classes : The average age of participants will be utilized to determine the participant`s class in doubles events.</p><p>** In youth categories (Bantam - Junior) the team will be placed in the category of the older member.</p><p>**Open: In the Sea Kayak, Recreation Kayak, Stock Canoe, Recreation Canoe Classes there will be no age criteria. Boat Specifications Canadian Marathon Canoe Championships - 2004.</p><p>C1 Marathon Pro Boat : -Max Length = 18 ft 6 in ( 5639 mm). -Min width @ midships @ 4 in (101.6mm) waterline = 14.375% of overall length. Midships is 12 in (304.8mm) either way of centre.</p><p>C2 Marathon Pro Boat: -Max length = 18ft 6in. -Min width - 27 in (686mm) @ 3 in ( 76.2mm) waterline. - 33 in (838.2mm) @ beam on top. -Min width is within 14 in ( 355.6mm) either side of actual boat centre. -Min Height: Bow = 15 in (381mm); Centre = 10 in(254mm); Stern = 10 in (254mm).</p><p>Stock Canoes: Recreation Canoes: - Max length = 18 ft (5486.4 mm). - Max Length = 17 ft (5181.6mm). - Min width = 15 % of length at 4 in waterline. - Min width = 16% length @ 4 in. waterline. - No weight restriction.</p><p>ICF Kayaks: Max Length: K1 = 520 cm(17.06ft). K2 = 650 cm (21.3ft). - all kinds of building materials, steering rudder, spray skirts permitted.</p><p>ICF “C” Boats (high kneelers): - Max Length: C1 = 520 cm. C2 = 650 cm. - All kinds of building materials permitted. - Steering rudders are not permitted. - C1 may be entirely open and in any case shall not be decked more than 150 cm from bow and 75 cm from stern. Removable spray decks may be used. - C2 may be entirely open; min length of opening 295 cm. Removable spray decks may be used.</p><p>Sea Kayak: Recreational Kayaks: - Max overall length = 18 ft. - Max overall length = 16 ft. - Min overall beam = 10% overall length. - Min 4 in waterline beam 22in. - Min 4 in waterline beam = 8.5% overall length. - No hatch, bulkhead, weight restrictions. - No hatch, bulkhead, weight restrictions. - Flip up rudder not included in length. - Flip up rudders not included in length. </p>
