<p>Louise Buckner, R.N. </p><p>Director of Nursing</p><p>Louise Buckner, Director of Nursing, has extensive experience in managing multifaceted continuing care facilities and hospitals. She rejoined the Uplands Village medical staff in 2015 after working for many years at Metro Nashville Bordeaux Hospital, a 419-bed Skilled/Intermediate Care facility that included a Ventilator and a Dementia unit. Prior to this she worked at Wharton Homes for 12 years, serving as MDS Coordinator and as Director of Nursing. </p><p>In addition to holding an R.N., she is a Certified Wound Specialist, a member of the Board of Nursing Advisory Board and a Test Proctor for the State of Tennessee C.N.A program. A long-time Crossville native, she was inspired by her grandmother, who was a nurse and a midwife. She is happy to have been recruited back to Uplands Village to serve as Director of Nursing. </p>
