Objectives/Lesson Outcomes: Students will be able to enter website address. Students will be able to navigate an author or illustrator website. Students will answer questions about the author or illustrator.</p><p>9. Materials and Resources Required: A. Technology (include location and equipment): Library – InFocus projector/computer/TV View box Library – Computers or Mobile laptop computers Internet POWER Library</p><p>B. Printed Materials: Author worksheets C. Other Supplies:</p><p>10. Lesson Procedures: Librarian will explain purpose of worksheet. Librarian will show students how to log on to website using address. Librarian will show sample author/illustrator webpage using InFocus projector and computer. Librarian will explore various sections on the webpage with the class and explain how to gather information to answer questions on worksheet.</p><p>11. Modifications for Differentiated Instruction: A. Remediation: Work with students individually.</p><p>B. Enrichment: Allow students to explore other author/illustrator websites. POWER Library: select author to research in Current Biography.</p><p>12. Student Assessment: Evaluate how students navigate website through observation. Check worksheets for answers to questions or information required about author or illustrator.</p>
