Overview – Why do we need to have a Local School Wellness Plan?</p><p> Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2004, Updated 2010 and 2016 LEAs - Child Nutrition Programs (NSLP and SBP) - Wellness Policy BCCHS Board Policy #006 – School Wellness Policy Local School Wellness Plan (LSWP) aka. Local School Action Plan serves as “roadmap” Compliance – CDE Administrative Review, CDE Federal Programs Monitoring (FPMs), and LAUSD Charter Schools Division Oversite Visits </p><p>3. Committee Member Responsibilities – Adhere to the BCCHS Rules of Conduct Agreement and Robert’s Rules of Order (handouts) Attendance at approximately four (4) more meetings in school year 2016-2017. Discuss, collaborate and determine appropriate LSWP Goals Develop implementation plan to achieve goals Determine monitoring process and timeline of plan Present to School Site Council and BCCHS School Board</p><p>4. Discussion Items – determine dates of next two meetings</p><p>5. Agenda Planning – purpose of next two meetings Review results of School Health Index (SHI) assessment tool Review data from 2015-2016 performance metrics Review existing LSWP goals determine revision of LSWP goals based on performance data</p><p>6. Announcements – before next meeting members will review contents of Wellness Committee binders.</p><p>7. Adjournment </p>
