<p>Rebecca Trautman Instructional Objectives Methods of Elementary Music Cassandra McMahan</p><p>Kindergarten- The students will be able to display their ability to keep a steady beat by modeling the teacher and patting their hands on their laps while listening to a musical version of a Mother Goose rhyme with 75% accuracy during the length of the piece as assessed by teacher observation.</p><p>First Grade- The students will be able to demonstrate their ability to keep a steady beat by modeling the teacher and clapping their hands together while listening to a musical version of a Mother Goose rhyme with 100% accuracy during the length of the piece as assessed by teacher observation.</p><p>Second Grade- The students will be able to demonstrate their ability to keep a steady beat by marching in place while simultaneously singing with a recording of a musical version of a Mother Goose rhyme with 85% accuracy as assessed by teacher observation. </p><p>Third Grade- The students will be able to demonstrate their ability to keep a steady beat by gently hitting rhythm sticks together while simultaneously singing with a recording of a musical version of a Mother Goose rhyme with 100% accuracy as assessed by teacher observation. </p><p>Fourth Grade- The students will be able to demonstrate their ability to keep a steady beat by clapping their hands together while count-singing with a recording of a musical version of a Mother Goose rhyme with 80% accuracy as assessed by teacher observation.</p><p>Fifth Grade- The students will be able to demonstrate their ability to keep a steady beat by pairing up and doing a steady hand jive while simultaneously count-singing with a recording of a musical version of a Mother Goose rhyme with 85% accuracy as assessed by teacher observation.</p><p>Sixth Grade- The students will be able to demonstrate their ability to keep a steady beat by moving through the learned Native American stick dance as a group while counting out loud with 90% accuracy as assessed by teacher observation.</p>
