<p>We are thrilled to announce that EY is hosting two diversity leadership conferences in January 2013! These conferences offer your students the opportunity to build their networks, meet EY professionals and learn why EY has been named to FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For®” 15 consecutive years! </p><p>Why are we hosting these conferences? At EY, we understand that workforce diversity is more than a good idea, it's good business. We are proud of our diverse workforce and focus on inclusiveness. We know that in order to provide the best quality service to our clients, we must foster an environment in which inclusiveness is openly embraced. These conferences are a way for EY to share how a career in professional services can be an exciting, challenging, and rewarding experience. </p><p>Discover EY – New York City – January 8-10, 2014 </p><p>What will students learn @ Discover EY? Participants will learn about careers at EY, have the opportunity to network with peers and leaders, and gain experience in building leadership and networking skills. All expenses for the three-day conference are paid for by EY. </p><p>Who should apply to Discover EY? A student should apply to attend Discover EY if he/she is: </p><p>- Interested in pursuing opportunities in ANY domestic locations - A student who self-identifies as Native American, Hispanic, or Black (groups which have historically been under-represented in the accounting industry) - Thinking about majoring in Accounting, MIS, Finance or related major and have a 3.3 GPA or higher </p><p>Diversity Leadership Conference – Stamford– January 13, 2014 </p><p>What will students learn @ the Diversity Leadership Conference? DLC participants will prepare for future careers within public accounting, partake in skill building activities and have the opportunity to network with peers and EY professionals. Travel costs associated with DLC are paid for by EY. </p><p>Who should apply to the Diversity Leadership Conference? A student should apply to attend the Diversity Leadership Conference if he/she is: </p><p>- Interested in pursuing opportunities in Northeast office locations - A student who self-identifies as Native American, Hispanic, or Black (groups which have historically been under-represented in the accounting industry) - Thinking about majoring in Accounting, MIS, Finance or related major and have a 3.3 GPA or higher </p><p>How to apply for Discover EY and the Diversity Leadership Conference: </p><p>Eligible students can apply to one or both conferences. Complete and submit the attached application, indicate your interest and availability for each conference, along with other required documents to Stacey O'Brien at [email protected] by October 14, 2013. Students will be notified of next steps within 2 weeks. </p>
