<p>The CiM Gender Committee offers travel grants for female researchers to attend scientific conferences with the aim to improve presentation and networking skills of the cluster's female scientists.</p><p>Eligible for application are female researchers of all CiM labs up to the level of junior group leaders. Students of the CiM-IMPRS graduate school are expected to use their annual travel budget before applying. </p><p>A maximum of 1000 € per person and year can be granted. If needed, additional family support can be requested. To receive funding, active participation of the applicant in the form of an oral or a poster presentation is obligatory. Please note: if multiple applications from one CiM lab are submitted or the total amount of requested funding of applications exceeds the available sum, the gender committee will allocate the funds accordingly.</p><p>For overseas conferences, applicants are required to apply for additional funding, for example at a public trust or the DAAD ‘Kongress- und Vortragsreisenprogramm’. Being granted this additional requested funding is, however, not obligatory.</p><p>To apply, researchers are requested to complete this form and send it with the attachments (see section 12) to the Careers-in-Motion Centre ([email protected]).
