<p> TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF VEHICLE THEFT INVESTIGATORS (TAVTI) IAATI SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL CHAPTER (SCRC) TROY BLANDO SCHOLARSHIP AWARD – FALL 2016 Eligibility/Application Requirements Applicants may be graduating high school seniors or individuals within four years following graduation. Those who attended home or alternative school should contact TAVTI/SCRC Scholarship Chairman Kenny Murchison 512-854-7412. Each qualified applicant will be given consideration. Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, national origin or disability. The awarded scholarship will be sent to the applicant and made payable to the college, university or trade school of the applicant's choice. The granting/non-granting of scholarships will be at the discretion of the TAVTI/SCRC Scholarship Committee. </p><p>TO BE ELIGIBLE, AN APPLICATION PACKET MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: (Check off the items below as submitted)</p><p>_____ 1. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA – If high school diploma has not yet been received or if the high school does not award diplomas, a letter from a school official is required to be submitted with this packet. Application and narrative must be typed or on a computer generated form. The application packet, which includes all the above, must be received or postmarked by September 1, 2016.</p><p>An application may be disqualified or not selected for the following reasons:</p><p>1. Does not meet qualification requirements. 2. Submitted incomplete application or incorrect application for scholarship being sought. 3. Not submitted by postmarked deadline. 4. Poor academic scores: less than 2.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent. 5. Failure to submit information required in narrative. 6.
