<p> Presentation on Famous Physicist</p><p>The Presentation is due Friday, January 23</p><p>College Physics</p><p>For this presentation you are to choose a physicist, no repeats allowed. You should let Mrs. Ashley know which person you will be discussing with the class. (If someone has already been chosen, Mrs. Ashley will ask you to choose another scientist.) Project is due January 23, no late assignments accepted. Your presentation should be between 4-5 minutes</p><p>Part I- You will present your physicist to the class covering the following:</p><p>1. Physicist's name, country of origin, date of birth and how long lived.</p><p>2. Give a short historical context of what was happening in their country and the world during the time of his/her work.</p><p>3. What did the person contribute to the field of physics?</p><p>4. With whom did they study or what work did they refute or change as a result of the work the person did.</p><p>5. Present any formulas or concepts related to the persons accomplishments in physics.</p><p>6. Your presentation should be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.</p><p>See attached rubric for grading of the presentation.</p><p>Part II- Write a one to two page essay on your physicist. The above information should also be written as a one to two page essay on your physicist. The paper is to be typed, double spaced, 12 point font and turned in on January 23 in class.</p><p>Attached is a list of possible physicists.</p>
