<p> Beresford High School Homecoming 2011</p><p>Beresford High School is proud to present information regarding this year’s Homecoming activities. Homecoming week is scheduled to run from September 26 – 30 with the selected theme of “Lights! Camera! Action!” The community is invited to participate in Homecoming festivities throughout the week. </p><p>This year’s homecoming royalty have been selected by the high school senior class. Queen candidates are Jessica Akland, Jessica Bogue, Jenna Frink, Krista Hoffer, and Molly Kennedy. King candidates are Austin Carlson, Hesston Erickson, Matthew Hoines, Hayden Palmer, and Jared Truman. </p><p>Beresford High School Homecoming Coronation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 7:30 PM in the high school gym. The burning of the “V” will take place in the southwest parking lot after Coronation.</p><p>The students will be celebrating homecoming throughout the week with theme days. Monday is designated as Disney Day; Tuesday will be Super Hero/Super Villain Day; Wednesday will be Hollywood Day; Thursday will allow students to show pride for their class with Class Color Day. Finally, to keep tradition, Friday will be Spirit Day (students and staff will be decked out in purple and white). </p><p>On Homecoming Day (Friday), there will be a community pep rally at Beresford High School beginning at 11:00 AM. The homecoming parade will begin at 1:00 PM. Come and cheer on the Watchdogs as they try to tackle the Canton C- Hawks. Game time is 7:00 PM with a tailgate party to start at 5:30 PM. The students will then enjoy some time together at the Homecoming dance. </p><p>Local businesses that are interested in decorating their storefront windows should contact the high school office. Windows will be judged on Wednesday of homecoming week. Businesses are encouraged to build a float and participate in the parade. The parade has always been a huge success. Please contact the high school office by Wednesday, September 28 to register your float. GO WATCHDOGS!</p>
