The lab report will include data and calculations worth 30 points. Near the end of the semester, a hands on laboratory practical exam will be given worth 20 % of the final grade </p><p>GRADING STANDARD : A Mastery of essential elements and related concepts, plus demonstrated excellence or originality. F Unsatisfactory progress. This grade may also be assigned in cases of academic misconduct, such as cheating or plagiarism, and/or excessive absences. Grading Policy</p><p>1. Work to be turned in will only be accepted during the first 10 minutes of lab, or will be considered late</p><p>2. Quizzes will be handed out with in the first 15 minutes of class. Quizzes cannot be made up if you are absent or late for class.</p><p>3. Work Later then one week will not be accepted, unless approved by me.</p><p>4. If absent from lab the maximum amount of points you can get for the lab that you missed is 20 points, if you complete the pre and post questions.</p><p>5. Two absences and 10 points will be deducted from your final grade</p><p>6. Attendance is mandatory, more than two absences and he/she may get assigned grade of an F</p><p>7. At the end of the lab, all materials need to be put away lab benches cleaned or 10 points will be deducted per lab</p><p>Final Grade: A = 90 - 100 C+ = 75 - 79 B+ = 85 - 89 C = 70 - 74 B = 80 - 84 D = 65 - 69 F = 0 - 64</p>
