<p> University of Missouri Faculty Scholars Dedicated to Promoting the Success of New Faculty</p><p>University of Missouri Faculty Scholars Program Features The University of Missouri Faculty Scholars (UMFS) program is UM Faculty Scholars participants are selected from tenure designed to support the efforts of the university to acclimate and track and non-tenure track ranked faculty in their second, third retain new faculty members. February 21-22, 2013 Lodge of the Four Seasons UM Faculty Scholars Events Lake Ozark, MO Participants in the UMFS program are expected to attend monthly Course Design and Technology on-campus activities as well as the three systemwide retreats. On- May 20-21, 2013 campus activities will include a variety of learning opportunities that University of Missouri Campus will address topics designed to support faculty development, faculty Columbia, MO roles in student success and faculty networking opportunities.</p><p>Application</p><p>Applications for the 2012-2013 program are due to your provost’s office by October 1, 2012. If you held a faculty or research position prior to your appointment at the University of Missouri, please describe the nature of the appointment and its duration.</p><p>CHAIR ENDORSEMENT Based on the stated goals of the University of Missouri Faculty Scholars program, I believe the above applicant will benefit from and contribute to the 2012-2013 UM Faculty Scholars program. I have reviewed the goals of the program, support the time commitment necessary, and have discussed ways to make time and other resources available during the year to allow for full participation in the UMFS program. </p><p>Department Chair Signature: </p><p>PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT I agree to participate in the systemwide and on-campus events offered by the UMFS program.
