Simultaneously, proceedings are instituted for a hearing before the Board.</p><p>Mandatory Suspension: Upon receipt of documentation by a court or agency, state or federal, that a licensee of the Department of Health Professions has been convicted of a felony or has been adjudged legally incompetent or has had his license, certificate or registration to practice the same profession revoked or suspended in another jurisdiction, the Director of the Department must immediately suspend without a hearing, the license or certificate.
