(nylon string classical guitar is preferred)</p><p>TEXT: Contemporary Classical Guitar, BK 1 by Schmid Fun with Struss (Mel Bay)</p><p>COURSE GOALS: To present and develop basic skills and knowledge in guitar technique, music reading, the interpretation of chord symbols, rhythm and strumming patter</p><p>Upon Successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Read notated music. 2. Play and strum chord progressions for several musical pieces. 3. Use proper folk guitar playing position and technique. 4.
