As a college student on summer break, Norm worked at the cold storage, and moved to Pelican in 1966. After a career as an Alaska State Trooper for twenty-one years, Norm became Chief of Security at the Alaska State Legislature. Additionally, Norm has owned and operated commercial fishing boats. Currently, Norm and Linda are the proprieters of Pelican Charters.
