<p>Mypyramid.gov: Computerized Food Analysis Class______</p><p>Name______Website Username______</p><p>1. Record: Record what you eat and drink for 3 days below, including 2 weekdays and one weekend. Measure things to insure accuracy. The analysis will only be as accurate as you make it. Most people underestimate what they eat. 2. Go online go to www.mypyramid.gov 3. My Pyramid Plan: Click my pyramid plan. Enter age, sex, and activity level, and then click submit. When the page loads go to File and Print. (This is page one of what you will turn in) 4. My Tracker: Click My Pyramid Tracker from upper left box. Click Assess Your Food Intakes. 5. Password: It will ask you for a user name and password. It says, "If you are a new user, please click here to register." Click where it says. You will be asked to pick a user name and password and then to click submit. Write this name down above so you don’t forget it. 6. Profile: Fill out user profile including: age, gender, the date of the day you want to record, height, and weight. Then click on the gray square that says Save Today's Changes. Click on the gray square that says Proceed to Food Intake.</p><p>7. Food Search: In the gray box, enter the food item that you ate, and then click search. A list of items appear; click on the one that is the closest match. It should appear on the right side of the screen. Then click select quantity. 8. Quantity: Select the serving size and quantity. Then click Enter foods to continue adding foods. Continue until you have entered all the foods for the day. On the last entry instead of clicking enter foods, click save and analyze. 9. Print: You will have a number of different options on which program you would like to use to analyze your food intake. Click Nutrient Intake. When this page loads go to file and then print. (This is page two to turn in.) 9. Turn in: You can enter one day at a time, so make entries and print on four different days. When you complete one day, you may go into “Update Profile” to change and save the new date.
