<p> The Indus River Valley-Travel Brochure Project</p><p>Your Task: As we continue our studies of the river valley civilizations, we come across the early civilizations of the Indus River valley in the area that is now Pakistan and parts of India( The Indian Sub-Continent). As the great civilizations of Mesopotamia and Egypt were flourishing, another was rising (2500 B.C.). Your job is to research and study the early cities of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa, and create a brochure that will encourage those from your neighboring areas to come to visit/live in the Indus River Valley. You will include vital information that a person would need to know before they left there homes elsewhere in the world. Using a variety of resources you will create a three paneled brochure with the following information:</p><p>Cover: Picture and map Panel 1-Geography of the Indus River Valley-What is it like here? -How to get there-what is it near, what routes could you take, what modes of transportation -Weather and Environment</p><p>Panel 2-Major cities -City life -trade</p><p>Panel 3-Religion -language -social customs</p><p>Back-Attractions-What will you see there? What are the major achievements? What would draw someone into moving there?</p><p>Due Date:</p><p>*This project will be graded out of 25 points</p>
