<p> ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS Silver Swans™ Teacher Training</p><p>Fees 1.The Academy reserves the right to amend fees where either tax changes take place during a calendar year or circumstances, such as the introduction of or a devaluation of a currency, dictate. </p><p>Closing Dates 2. Applicants are asked to apply early to ensure a place as each course has a limited number of places. </p><p>General Terms and Conditions 3. All applications and payments will be processed in order of receipt. 4. We will contact you primarily by email. If the email address on the application form is unclear, incorrect or illegible, the RAD cannot be held responsible for missed or misdirected email communications. 5. Written confirmation of your acceptance onto the Silver Swans™ Teacher Training will not be sent until after the closing date. 6. Applications are non-transferable. </p><p>Withdrawal 7. Programme fees are not normally refundable. Please read the information below regarding withdrawals. 8. Students are required to notify the Continuing Professional Development Department (CPD) of an intention to withdraw by completing and returning the withdrawal form. Please contact Julia Delaney, CPD and FoE Access Routes Co-ordinator ([email protected] / +44 (0)20 7326 8958). </p><p>Assessment and resits 9. Assessment for the Silver Swans™ Teacher Training will consist of submission of a DVD that demonstrates safe and inclusive practice in ballet for older learners, and competency to demonstrate appropriately. The DVD must be submitted within one month of the final day of the workshop. You will also be required to undertake an online assessment, which must be completed within one week of the final day of the workshop. Both assessments are Pass/Fail 10. Participants who fail either component will have one opportunity to resit. If you are required to resit an assessment you will be charged an additional resit fee (DVD £50, online assessment £20). 11. Participants who do not pass a module on resit will be unable to acquire Silver Swans™ license unless they subsequently retake and successfully complete the Silver Swans™ Teacher Training. 12. Participants with an existing injury attend the activity at their own risk. Participants should consider whether they need insurance coverage in case of injury during the activity. </p><p>Payment</p><p>By Credit/Debit Card link to Evenbrite ? via Eventbrite</p><p>13. The Academy does not normally provide receipts unless requested to do so. An alternative for teachers is to retain a copy of their application and match it with their credit card slip / bank statement as evidence for their accountants. 14. The Academy reserves the right to alter the advertised programme and/or tutor without prior notice. The information in this and other printed or electronic brochures/notices is correct at the time of print or going online. 15. The RAD reserves the right to amend the Application Form and these Terms and Conditions. 16. Any CPD Value that an activity may carry is awarded in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the RAD CPD Scheme. Any CPD Value accrued cannot be transferred between applicants. 17. The Academy reserves the right to cancel the scheduled module(s), in this case fees will be refunded in full and no liability will be accepted for travel, accommodation or any other expenses incurred by participants</p><p>08/04/2018</p>
