<p>G R E A T E R W A U K E G A N M I N I S T E R I A L A S S O C I A T I O N GWMA</p><p>Minutes of Monthly Meeting September 21, 2006 GraceLife Christian Church, Waukegan</p><p>PRAYER was held 7:30—8:15 a.m. The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. by President Glenn Stewart ATTENDANCE: Bruce Wilson (Christian Fellowship Church), Carl “Spark” Ball (Love INC), Glenn Stewart (Agape Christian Fellowship), Bob Rhyne (GraceLife Church), George Jones (Family Life Church), Roger Handyside (Cornerstone Community Church) DEVOTION: Host Bob Rhyne shared thoughts on Galatians 2:19: the importance of preaching freedom from the law for a godly life. TREASURER’S REPORT: George Jones reminds us that dues for 2006-2007 are now due. SECRETARY’S REPORT: Minutes from May were approved as presented. BUSINESS and DISCUSSION:  CATALYST: o “ShareFest East” monthly pastoral fellowship will be held on Friday, September 29, 8:00am, at Village Church of Gurnee, 1319 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee. Info (www.catalystweb.org) o “Catalyst Monthly Meeting” Friday, October 13, Christian Faith Fellowship Church, 1727 27th Street, Zion, IL.(www.cffczion.org) 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Coffee and fellowship begin at 8:00 a.m. No registration is required and anyone who wants to impact their community for Christ is welcomed to come. (www.catalystweb.org)  SHAREFEST: for full schedule and service opportunities visit: www.sharefest.net  Love INC (www.loveinclakecty.net) invites us to an evening of celebration music, ethnic foods and inspiring tales: Saturday, Oct 7, at Crossroads Church, 1350 Rte 137, Grayslake (Just west of Hwy 45) 6:30-9:30 p.m.  LIFE CHAIN—a silent protest of abortion: Sunday, Oct. 1st, 2:30—3:30pm. Pick up signs in the west end of the parking lot of the strip mall 1 block west of McAree on Grand Ave.  PRESIDENT GLENN INVITES US to a Meet and Greet with candidates David McSweeny and Sue Simpson, Wednesday, Oct 4, 9:00-10:00am at “It’s All Good” in Zion, 2780 Sheridan Road. RSVP appreciated but not required: 847-872-5502, [email protected]  TREE FUND DONATION: a motion passed to donate three trees (at $200 each) to Cornerstone Community Church to help toward the requirement of 180 trees to satisfy the Village of Wadsworth’s requirements for occupancy of the new church.  GET WELL CARDS will be sent by the secretary on behalf of GWMA to Mayor Hyde of Waukegan and state senator Adeline Geo-Karis.
