<p>7. PRIORITY ISSUES</p><p>1. Financial matter- Grant-in-aid to State Govt./SSCs SSCAs/ Central Agencies viz. NSC, IFFCO, HIL, KRIBHCO, DSST-IARI, ICAR Institutes: State wise fund allocation and examination and forwarding of the proposal to IFD for concurrence. 2. Seeds Law Enforcement: Collection and compilation of the status report on Seeds Law Enforcement as Seeds Act and Seeds Rules -1968 and Seeds (Control) Order- 1983. 3. Matters relating to Seeds Bill, 2004 4. VIP/PMO References: Preparation of replies to all the VIP/PMO references pertaining to QC wing of Seeds Division. 5. RTI Matter: Providing information on RTI cases relating to QC in Seeds to the concerned CPIOs of Seeds Division. 6. Parliament Questions: Preparation of material for Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Questions pertaining to QC wing of Seeds Division. 7. Other Parliamentary Matters: Preparation of material for other parliamentary matters like assurance, zero hour matters etc. pertaining to QC wing of Seeds Division 8. Providing inputs/material for Parliament Questions: Providing inputs/material pertaining to QC wing of Seeds Division for preparation of Parliamentary Question. Coordination, compilation & preparation of material/inputs for Parliament Questions involving more than one scheme handled in various Unit/Section of Crops Division for providing information to other Divisions & other line Ministries. 9. Providing material for Annual Report, State of Indian Agriculture, Annual India etc: Coordination, compilation & preparation of material pertaining to QC wing of Seeds Division for Annual Report, State of Indian Agriculture etc. 10. Bt. cotton matters/ commercial release of GM Crops 11. Coordination with other Divisions of DAC&FW & other Departments/Ministries: Coordination, compilation & preparation of material for providing information to other Divisions & other line Ministries. 12. Monitoring of status of Seed Law Enforcement and functioning of Seed Certification Agencies: As per requirement and reports received from state governments. 13. Rabi Conference/Kharif Conference: These conferences are held regularly in the month of September & March respectively. Material/ Information pertaining to QC wing of Seeds provided. Prior to this conferences zonal conference for Kharif & Rabi are held. 14. Court Cases: Inputs and regular monitoring court cases on CSPCO 2015, Notification of Bt cotton basmati rice GI & CCI order in Delhi / Karnataka High Court. 15. E-Samiksha: Information on QC wing of Seeds Division, if any, is to be provided to S.D.-I section.</p>
