<p>Natural Resources Conservation Service 6013 Lakeside Boulevard Indianapolis, IN 46278 ______</p><p>July 19, 2012 INDIANA BULLETIN NO. 360-12-6 SUBJECT: PER – AgLearn Training Requirement for Fleet Charge Card Users PURPOSE: To provide information and requirements for completion of required training on the NRCS Fleet Charge Card Program Card User Certification Course in AgLearn. EXPIRATION DATE: September 30, 2012 ACTION REQUIRED BY: July 30, 2012</p><p>The fleet card program provides a tool for purchasing fuel, maintenance and repairs for NRCS-owned vehicles. Agency policy requires all users to complete fleet card training every 3 years. In addition to NRCS employees, contractors, and Earth Team Volunteers, the requirement also applies to partners, such as Soil and Water Conservation District, Indiana State Dept of Agriculture – Division of Soil Conservation, Farm Service Agency, and Rural Development employees, who utilize NRCS vehicles.</p><p>NRCS must comply with the fleet card policy contained in Title 120, General Manual, Part 406, Subpart O. The NRCS Fleet Charge Card Program Card User Certification Course was developed to provide guidance on how to correctly use fleet charge cards and appropriately document fleet card transactions. All employees, contractors, volunteers, and partner employees that utilize NRCS vehicles must complete the training by July 30, 2012.</p><p>To facilitate the process, the course has been placed on all NRCS employees’ AgLearn “To-Do List.” This course will also be loaded onto the “To Do” lists for partners who have AgLearn accounts and that use NRCS vehicles. To receive credit for the course, the statement of understanding must be reviewed to acknowledge the responsibilities associated with the use of Government fleet cards. Employees are welcome to print off the statement for their files, but do not need to forward to supervisors, state training officer, or the local fleet program coordinator.
