<p> O OO</p><p>Annual State Conference Monday, June 15, 2015 7:30 – 5:00 Quest Conference Center 8405 Pulsar Place, Columbus, OH 43240</p><p>Speakers Dr. Sue Zake, Director, Office of Exceptional Children, Ohio Department of Education Update on State Issues - 2015 Vision and Actions</p><p>Dr. Eric P. Hartwig, from the 2014 Ohio Special Education Leadership Conference. He received his doctoral in Educational Administration from University of Wisconsin- Madison, M.S. in School Psychology, B.S. in Psychology from University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse. He is experienced and licensed as a Director of Pupil Services, District Administrator and School Psychologist. Presently, he is the Administrator of Pupil Services for the Marathon County Children with Disabilities Education Board and author and principle trainer on the Just-in-Time: Behavioral Initiative Project. Dr. Hartwig has done extensive research on discipline, school violence, psychoeducational assessment, and related special education issues. Dr. Hartwig is the consulting editor for Today’s School Psychologist, author of a behavioral rating scale designed to identify and treat conduct and personality disorders in school-age children, and co- author of a book, a monograph, a law report, several articles, and eight videos on disciplining students with disabilities including the video Functional Behavioral Assessments: How To Do Them Right. Dr. Judith K. March and Dr. Karen H. Peters, senior consultants for EdFOCUS Initiative, a nonprofit consulting group that provides customized services to schools and school districts. Dr. Peters and Dr. March are authorized by the Ohio Department of Education to provide consultation to schools. They have worked in school reform for more than two decades across the country. Authors of The Common Core, an Uncommon Opportunity Redesigning Classroom Instruction. </p><p>CEC-Ohio Annual State Conference Monday, June 15, 2015 Registration </p><p>Registration may be completed online at www.cec-ohio.org using Paypal or a School Purchase Order Number; or, the registration form may be printed and mailed with check made out to CEC-Ohio to: CEC-Ohio, P.O. Box 81056, Cleveland, OH 44181 by May 26, 2015.</p><p>A cancellation request for refund must be submitted by email to [email protected] no later than midnight June 1, 2015.</p><p>Registration includes the buffet lunch at Quest. (Note: The buffet lunch may not be available to late registrants and walk-ins.)
