Miles Individualizing Excellence Principal</p><p>DRESS CODE</p><p>Students are expected to dress and groom in a manner that exhibits good taste. Student attire must meet the following standards:</p><p> The attire must not jeopardize the health and safety of self and others.  The attire must not interfere with the educational process or cause disorder.  Shoes are required for health and safety reasons.  Sleeveless shirts are acceptable; shoulder straps must be at least two inches wide.  Shirts must cover the back. No racerbacks, backless shirts, etc.  Shirt length must not only reach the pants, but cover belt loops/waistband when standing.  No see through clothing (unless clothing underneath meets the dress code requirements).  No wearing of sunglasses or headgear, including hoods, will be permitted during the school day.  Students may not wear clothing which advertises alcoholic beverages, or controlled substances.  Shorts/skirts must be an appropriate length; Administration will make the final determination.</p><p>Any form of attire is subject to evaluation on an individual basis.</p><p>Any student not in compliance with the dress code will be required to obtain an immediate suitable change of clothing and may face disciplinary action ranging from warning to Saturday detentions.</p><p>Main Office – (215) 938-0220 Guidance Office – (215)938-0114 Fax – (215)947-0333 www.lmtsd.org</p>
