This zone (shown on the diagram attached) has been put in place to ensure enrolments are within the physical resources of the College. At Patterson River Secondary College this means that we intend to limit our Year 7 enrolments to approximately 200 students.</p><p>It is expected that Patterson River Secondary College will have approximately 150 student enrolments from within the designated zone. These students are automatically accepted, as Patterson River Secondary College is their local neighbourhood secondary school.</p><p>The remaining student places at the College – up to 200 – will be given to students who reside out of zone. These are allocated on the basis of:  those with siblings who already attend Patterson River Secondary College.  those who meet the criteria of – * living closest to the zone * having needs that are best met by the College curriculum e.g. music, LOTE offerings * other specific considerations.</p><p>Parents of students living out of the zone should attach the letter of appeal, to the enrolment form which is returned to the Primary School.
