<p>Anchor Assemblies Light Poles, Item SPV.0060.XX.</p><p>A Description This special provision describes furnishing and installing anchor bolt assemblies for light poles as shown on the plans, and as hereinafter provided.</p><p>B Materials Furnish anchors of the size and spacing as given on the plans, and that conform to ASTM A449 or AASHTO M 314 GR 55. The upper 8 inches of the bolts, nuts, and washers shall be hot-dipped galvanized in accordance with ASTM A153, Class C. Provide enlarged threads on nuts for proper fit after galvanizing.</p><p>C Construction Provide two nuts and two washers per anchor bolt, and install per light standard manufacturer’s recommendations.</p><p>D Measurement The department will measure Anchor Assemblies Light Poles as each individual anchor bolt assembly acceptably completed.</p><p>E Payment The department will pay for the measured quantity at the contract unit price under the following bid item: ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION UNIT SPV.0060.XX Anchor Assemblies Light Poles Each</p><p>Payment is full compensation for furnishing and installing the anchorages; and for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete the contract work.</p><p>07/05</p>
