<p> R.J.Mitchell Medical Centre & Waterhayes Surgery P.P.G Minutes of the Meeting Held at Waterhayes Surgeryon 24 th April, 2017</p><p>Present: Colin Oakley Monica Oakley Peter Hall Tim Hardie Bob Copeland Maureen Hesse Ian Knight Derrath Machin Dianne James</p><p>Apologies: Christine Thomas Sheila Kay</p><p>The Minutes of the last PPG meeting dated 7th March 2017 were read and approved.</p><p>Matters Arising : :</p><p>Derrath stated that she would prepare the Confidentially Statements and have them available at the next Meeting.</p><p>Review of the Video Presentations:</p><p>It would appear that some patients have made complaints about the Video. Due to the Doctor situation at present patients are having to wait longer to see the doctor sometimes as long as 40 minutes. Also Derrath stated that there are quiet periods on the Video which meant that patients in the waiting room could hear what was being said in Reception. She also said that at the next Practice Managers Meeting she would enquire what facilities other surgeries have. It was agreed that for the May presentation Patients would be asked to complete a small survey form asking for their views on the future of the Video. The Screens would display a message regarding the survey and background sound would be via the Radio as before.</p><p>Mobile Phones:</p><p>The Notices regarding use of Mobile Phones in the Surgery is to be amended to ask Patients to switch the phone to silent mode, and to step outside should they wish to make or receive a call.</p><p>Surgery Opening /Appointments Times:</p><p>Derrath Stated that from 10th May a new Opening/Appointment Structure would be constructed and this would be displayed in the Surgeries and on the Websites.</p><p>DNA’s</p><p>Dianne gave Colin the latest DNA Numbers for inclusion in his Notice.</p><p>Front Page of PPG Website:</p><p>Colin handed out copies of the front page of the PPG Website. These will now be included in the package given to new patients and displayed in the surgeries to encourage more Patient Participation.</p><p>AOB:</p><p>Peter asked about times of Appointments on Internet Booking site. Derrath stated that due to the uncertainty with the Doctors at the moment she could only display one week at a time. This should improve after the 10th May.</p><p>.</p><p>The Next Meeting will be on Tuesday 13the June 2017 At 6.30pm. At Butt Lane Surgery. It is essential that as many members as possible attend. .</p>
