Principle areas of responsibility</p><p>1.1 Manage the Business Intelligence team to provide management information across the full range of Nexus operations. Understand and manage the flow of data, from collection, interrogating source systems through to analysis and conclusions. 1.2 Provide specialist analysis for external clients, including NTL and Regional Transport Team 1.3 Provide detailed analysis to support the annual concessionary travel reimbursement process. 1.4 Let, manage and monitor the market research framework and set and manage the 1.5 associated budget 1.6 Provide input into the development of strategies, policies and the corporate business plan and the NECA transport plan to ensure these can be effectively measured and monitored 1.7 Provide overall management to the Business Intelligence team engendering a culture of continuous improvement and team working both within the team and the wider Corporate Planning Team 1.8 Make best use of available tools, technology such as Qlik and new data sources to continuously improve the provision of management information to support corporate decision making. 1.9 Co-ordinate Nexus’ participation in worldwide benchmarking case studies as part of Nova group.</p><p>2.
