<p>DINING ROOM MANAGER/BANQUET MANAGER The George Town Club, Washington, DC</p><p>The George Town Club is one of the finest city clubs in the country. We provide our Members with superior food & beverage in a private setting. We are open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and for dinner service only on Saturday. We are open for Thanksgiving, Easter & Mother’s Day Brunch. We offer employee meal, great working conditions in a fun team driven environment.</p><p>The Dining Room Manager/Banquet Manager reports directly to the General Manager. He/She promotes the Club’s dining room by creating a comfortable surrounding with superior service. Strong background in fine dining and top level service is required. Knowledge of tableside service is a plus. Experience working with Catering and executing events necessary.</p><p>Job Tasks & Duties: </p><p>Qualified candidate will posses strengths in leadership, training, scheduling, managing and directing staff to produce the finest level of service in a private club atmosphere. Must have 1-2 years experience with fine dining and banquets. Must act as liaison between the kitchen and dining room staff. Assumes the Manager on Duty responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager. Must have computer skills specifically in POS software. Must be able to read, understand and execute Banquet Event Orders. Supervises all servers to ensure execution of superior service. Must be capable and skilled in training service staff.</p><p>Candidate Qualifications:</p><p>Fine dining experience required, experience with Private Clubs and Banquets preferred; Must have excellent oral/written communication skills, computer skills; Must be personable, organized & detail- oriented.
