<p>Minutes – March 27, 2017 Special Call Meeting City of Patterson, Louisiana</p><p>The Mayor and Council of the City of Patterson met in a Special Call Meeting on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 5:00 PM, City Hall, 1314 Main Street, Council Meeting Room, Patterson, Louisiana.</p><p>Mayor Rodney Grogan presided over the meeting. </p><p>Councilmembers Travis Darnell, Larry Mendoza, John Rentrop and Joe Russo, III were present. Councilmember Sandra Turner was absent.</p><p>Mayor Grogan called to order the Special Call meeting and read the Notice of Special Call Meeting for the recommendation by Professional Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Inc, to award the bid for the new 1.5 MGD Water Plant.</p><p>The Mayor read all bids received. Professional Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Inc. recommended the award of the contract go to The Lemoine Company, LLC for a total amount of $4,541,000.00 which will include base bid of $4,378,000.00 and Alternate bid Item 1 (Deductive bid item for $122,000.00 for the pre-engineered steel building) and Alternate bid item 3 (Add item for $285,000.00 for Actiflo system). This will allow the new water plant to have the Actiflo system and the Chlorine Dioxide system and also have the capability of future expansion to a 3.0 MGD water plant system.</p><p>Councilmember Rentrop made a motion to award the contract to “The Lemoine Company, LLC”, seconded by councilmember Russo. Councilmembers Darnell, Mendoza, Rentrop and Russo voted yea. Councilmember Turner was absent. </p><p>Motion was made by Councilmember Mendoza and seconded by Councilmember Darnell to allow the Mayor to enter into the contract with The Lemoine Company, LLC. Councilmembers Darnell, Mendoza, Rentrop and Russo voted yea. Councilmember Turner was absent. </p><p>There being no further business to come before the Mayor and Council, Councilmember Rentrop made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Russo to adjourn the Special Call meeting.
