<p>Umbrella Derby and Derbyshire</p><p>Are looking to appoint</p><p>Lead Independent Supporter - 37 hrs pw (Qualified to NVQ Level 3) Independent Supporter Practitioners x 3 – 18.5 hrs pw, Term Time Only (all posts contracted from November 2014 to 31 March 2016)</p><p>Umbrella has been awarded a contract to employ staff and volunteers to support parents and young people through the recent education reforms; particularly in relation to those transitioning from Statements of Special Educational Needs to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and to support those newly entering the SEN assessment process. </p><p>Lead Independent Supporter, Scale 27 £11.51 per hour within scales 27-30 £22,145 - £23,703 per annum</p><p>Independent Support Practitioners Scale 22 £9.82 per hour within scales 22-26 £8,175 - £9,257 per annum (term time only)</p><p>Based in Derby, these posts are essential car user posts</p><p>Full training and a comprehensive induction will be provided.</p><p>For all roles, candidates must have </p><p> Experience of supporting parents/carers and/or young adults with disabilities or additional needs.  Experience of Special Educational Needs and Disability Reforms  Knowledge of services within Derby City and Derbyshire.  Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate </p><p>Closing Date – 17th September 2014 at 12.00pm</p><p>Interviews for all posts will take place on Monday 22nd and Thursday 25th September 2014</p><p>Applicants MUST be available to attend training during November</p><p>For an application pack telephone 01332 521229 or email [email protected]</p>
