Odyssey has the ability to have that officer information in a code table. Options Considered 1) Create a code table (by badge number or officer name) 2) Enter badge number as text 3) enter officer name as text 4) not enter anything at all. Recommended Process Change MNCIS will not configure and maintain a badge number table in the application. Local courts will have the option to enter as a text field or use local resources to populate and maintain a local table. Rationale By entering the badge number as a text field there is no need to maintain a code table of constantly changing information. MNCIS has the ability to generate reports from information in text fields. It is acknowledged that badge numbers are not unique. The text field containing badge number can be searched in conjunction with the agency field for desired results.
