When your presentation is finished follow the two steps closely in the text box below. Required features and checklist/criteria

 Emblems/images/symbols for all four provinces includes: mammal/animal; the flower/plant; gem/stone; and tree. Emblems and symbols should be paired up on the same slide, and have variety to portray importance of emblems.  Required facts: Each emblem’s month/year when it was adopted and its importance – why it was chosen over other possibilities.  “ Additional” facts: new slides with minimum six facts for each province; maximum ten facts. Pics added will add to overall mark.  Multimedia touches: Use Auto Forward and music/audio of some sort like sound effects/music devices. Also animate the text or images or both on each slide to liven up the presentation. Sample below shows “sound icon” on first slide.  Bibliography Slide: this is the very last slide, to cite the sources/where you got the images and information in the presentation. Follow this format. http://www.openschool.bc.ca/courses/booklets/writer/works_cited.html#anchor1023397

2015 Extra tid bits…KID language for this?

~ Probably minimum 10 slides, the first as an intro. and the last is a reference slide…~ the middle 8 slides in pairs for the four provinces, one slide for emblems/facts, the other for additional info. No more than 6 lines of text and three images per slide is the rule of thumb to avoid cluttering the slide. ~ The top presentations have close to 20 slides with lots of beautiful images, nicely balanced and displayed, the text is animated and/or the images move, there is audio/music uploaded, the text is very clear to read over the background…solid background with cropped images/text are the most visually appealing. Use different shapes for variety.

Email completed First Assignment to [email protected] or attach to your registration form

2015
