<p> Galfer USA Riders Ulrich, Fong on Podium in Superbike Shootout Finale at Miller</p><p>Oxnard, Calif. - May 27, 2014 - The GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented by Yamaha wrapped up from May 24-25 at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, and Galfer USA riders ended the three-round series with podium finishes in both Pro Superbike and Pro Sportbike.</p><p>Pro Superbike Chris Ulrich had his best race of the series, finishing third on board the No. 18 GEICO Honda CBR1000RR. Ulrich qualified ninth for the race, and he was able to work his way up to a podium position during the 16-lap event. Combined with an eighth and a tenth in the first two rounds, Ulrich’s finish at Miller gave him sixth in the championship.</p><p>Chris Fillmore’s lucky number at Miller was five. He crossed the finish line in fifth on the No. 11 KTM/HMC KTM RC8R despite a crash earlier in the race. The finish marked Fillmore’s best in the series – he finished sixth in the first two rounds – and gave him fifth in the Pro Superbike championship.</p><p>Pro Sportbike The Pro Sportbike class wrapped up with a third-place finish for Bobby Fong. The rider of the No. 50 Latus Motorsports Triumph Daytona 675 finished the series with second in the championship.</p><p>Jake Zemke crossed the line just behind Fong, taking fourth on the No. 98 GEICO Honda CBR600RR. Despite a DNF in round two, Zemke came away with sixth in the championship.</p><p>Bryce Prince was sixth at Miller on the No. 74 Tuned Racing Yamaha YZF-R6, and he was fifth in the championship. Jason Aguilar’s ride on the No. 96 Tuned Racing R6 included ninth in both the race and the points.</p><p>In all, Galfer riders accounted for six of the top-ten finishes in Sportbike points. Benny Solis gave Team H35 the eighth spot, and M4 SportbikeTrackGear.com’s Joe Roberts tied for tenth.</p><p>From the track to the street, Galfer USA distributes the full range of Galfer brake components.
