Harvest Festival Karen Wolfe will print out certificates for the volunteers as thanks for their participation. Karen received very good comments about the event. It was agreed that Jackie Diasio did a superb job as the co-ordinator. General comments – better signage and advertising needed, Town should supply the tables, date conflict with Keswick Harvest Festival, gate fee (not charged by Keswick Fest.). </p><p>1 c. Annual General Meeting Bette Banks will ask Terry Carter and Bob Holden to speak about the Radial Line. Bette and Suzanne Meakins will be at the door. There will be recorded background music. d. AGM Program Bette will supply the financial report to Karen. e. Members Meeting Ruth Berry will present genealogy research information on Oct. 21. f. Pegg Log House Bruce Whittaker will investigate potential concerns with moving this structure to the GPV&A. Melissa Matt will be asked to supply information regarding its history. g. Old Fashioned Christmas Melissa Matt will investigate the options about the lack of heating.</p><p>9.0 OTHER BUSINESS a. Christmas Reading – Diana Rowney reported that Phil Craig does not want his reading broken up. The music will be reduced. b. GHS Banner – wording was reviewed and will include the logo, “new members welcome”, part of the GHS Mission Statement and web site. c. Eildon Hall – A committee was established to address this issue.
