<p> Tigers- Grade 7</p><p>Inte grated Science Mrs. Kappeler</p><p>Classroom Rules:</p><p>1. Be Prompt- Every student must be on time to class. Please be seated and prepared to start class when the bell rings. </p><p>2. Be Prepared- You must bring your planner, pencil, and binder to class every day. If you have homework that is due, it must be brought to class with you to earn credit.</p><p>3. Be Respectful- Please show respect for classmates, teachers, and all equipment located in the classroom. </p><p>Science Requirements:</p><p>1. Planner- Everyday you will be required to write all homework assignments into your planner. Your planner must be signed/stamped daily. </p><p>2. Science binder- You will be required to keep an organized science binder. This binder will contain a copy of the seventh grade text book, labs, and all homework assignments. All papers in the binder must be completed and contain corrected information. This binder will be graded periodically for organization and accuracy. 3. Portfolio- Each student will keep a classroom portfolio which will contain all graded projects and exams.</p><p>4. Homework- You are expected to complete all homework in full by the due date.</p><p>Absences: </p><p>1. If you are absent from class due to illness, it is your responsibility to see me in homeroom the day you return to school to pick up work and make arrangements to complete it. 2. If you are going to be absent from class to attend a Chorus, Band, or Purpose session, it is your responsibility to see me in homeroom the day you are missing class. This way any homework that is due can be collected, and any work that will be missed can be picked up for completion as homework. </p><p>Cheating Policy: </p><p>Cheating of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes copying from another student or copying work directly from an internet site. Also, if a student is caught copying work by any teacher, the person copying the work receives a zero for the assignment and the person who lends the work will also receive a zero for the assignment. </p><p>This rule applies to every assignment, quiz, project, and test!!! ******* Please be honest and complete your own work! ******* </p><p>Tips for Success in Science Class:</p><p>1. Turn work in on time. 2. Work hard every day. 3. Stay current with all class work- if you are confused, please ask for help. I am available in homeroom or after school. 4.
