<p> “Raiders” of the Lost Ark Archaeology/Paleontology Camp</p><p>YOU’LL DIG IT!</p><p>Travel back in time to the Mesozoic Era when dinosaurs ruled the earth. Get your archaeologist/paleontologist on while discovering about fossils, bones, and more!! In this Archaeology/Paleontology Camp by GT Coordinators Suzanne Valenta (element ary) and Carolyn Baker (middle school), you will be exposed to the principles of archaeology/paleontology in age- appropriate, fun, and exciting hands- on exercises. Activities will include:</p><p>● Types of Fossils ● Shoebox Dig ● Stratigraphy ● Cave Paintings ● Reconstructing a Dinosaur ● Creating an “Amber” Fossil ● Rocks and Minerals ● Geo- Logic Session from Perot Museum of Nature & Science Program ● And Many More!</p><p>The camp is forincoming 2nd-6th grade students and will be held July 17th - 20th at Sunnyvale Elementary from 9:00-2:30. The cost of camp is $110.00. Please return the bottom portion of this page, along with payment to your child’s school by May 19, 2017.
