Your opportunities are only limited by your imagination and the amount of time you want to devote.</p><p> Answer horticulture-related telephone calls during scheduled hours at the Extension Office and/or Arboretum  Assist with youth groups (schools, 4-H, summer programs, etc…)  Coordinate and organize local farmers’ markets  Conduct educational meetings or workshops for youth and adults  Assist with community solid waste reduction programs  Help at public parks, arboretums and botanical centers  Develop/teach horticulture educational opportunities  Teach “Growing in the Garden” curriculum in elementary schools  Plant or maintain with demonstration gardens  Assist with the organization of the county Master Gardeners  Organize social events for the county Master Gardeners  Write a garden column or newsletter articles  Work with community gardening projects  Maintain member volunteer hours  Organizing plant sales</p>
