<p> Board Certified Pay (BCP)</p><p>May be paid to Dental Corps officers, who are board certified in a dental specialty recognized by the American Board of Dental Specialties, or Board Certification Equivalency. BCP is paid monthly at the following annual rates:</p><p>Dental Corps Officers:</p><p>Officers with less than 10 years creditable service $ 2,500 10 but less than 12 $ 3,500 12 but less than 14 $ 4,000 14 but less than 18 $ 5,000 18 or more $ 6,000</p><p>BCP is effective on the date of commencement of extended active duty, or the date the officer becomes board certified in the specialty, whichever is later. BCP must be terminated upon expiration of the board certificate, loss of certification, or separation from active duty.</p><p>M132 authorizes BCP upon verification of credentials. To receive BCP a provider must submit a request to M132, via their commanding officer, with a copy of the boards letter of notification of certification or the board certificate.</p><p>Providers must submit evidence of re-certification to M132 in order to continue receiving BCP.</p><p>Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)</p><p>Q.
