<p> Glossop Amateur Swimming Club Alan Fennell Memorial Gala inc. Club Championships Competition Entry Criteria</p><p>Glossop Annual Gala 1. All swimmers must be members of Glossop Amateur Swimming Club.</p><p>2. Age for entry into the gala is age on 31st December in the year of the Gala.</p><p>3. Swimmer membership is taken at the point of renewal or upon joining the club for the Gala year.</p><p>4. Glossop Amateur Swimming Club FULL members can enter both their own age group and open events.</p><p>5. Glossop Amateur Swimming Club ASSOCIATE members can enter only open events.</p><p>6. All swimmers can enter a maximum of 4 events across their own age group and open events.</p><p>7. Disabled swimmers can enter events within both the main Gala and the disabled Gala up to the maximum number of events allowed for any swimmer</p><p>8. For each event the swimmer will be rewarded with Gloscat points benchmarked against current Glossop club records; benchmark times for new events will be determined by the GASC Gala committee. The best three scores will count towards their participation in the Glossop ASC Age Group Championships – all swimmers will be automatically entered into this. Prizes will be awarded for the 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16 year age groups.</p><p>9. Events will be swum either as “Heats and Finals” or “Heat Declared Winners”. Heats and Finals events will see both the heats and finals take place on the same night.</p><p>10. The line judge’s decision is final.</p><p>Disabled Swimmers</p><p>1. All swimmers must be members of Glossop Amateur Swimming Club. 2. Disabled swimmers can enter events within both the main Gala and the disabled Gala up to the maximum number of events allowed for any swimmer, as listed above.</p><p>3. To qualify for the main Gala the membership criteria listed in the section Glossop Annual Gala must be met.</p><p>4. All disabled events will take place at New Mills Pool. Width swimmers</p><p>1. All swimmers must be members of Glossop Amateur Swimming Club.</p><p>2. Width swimmers can enter Widths events only.</p><p>3. The width event will take place at New Mills Pool.</p><p>4. A swimmer who has previously entered any Pointscore event cannot enter the Gala widths event.</p>
