<p> Part-time Student Programmers</p><p>Graduate/Undergraduate Students (not to exceed 1000 hours for the year)</p><p>Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), a division of the American Chemical Society, is the world's authority for chemical information. Combining these databases with advanced search and analysis products and services, including SciFinder®, STN®, and Science IP®, CAS delivers the most complete, cross-linked, and effective digital information environment for scientific discovery.</p><p>Requirements: Course work toward a Computer Science degree. Sophomore experience minimum; at least 18 months remaining until graduation</p><p>•Experience with a subset of these technologies is a plus: OOAD, Java, (JEE, Spring, EclipseRCP) C, C++, Perl, Tcl, ClearCase, Ant, Maven, Hudson, UNIX, Microsoft Windows, Shell, HTML, HTTP, Oracle and XML •Strong written and verbal communication skills •Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills •Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. •Chemistry Skills desired</p><p>Duties: Provide support for systems development projects (may include writing software, QA testing of software, or support of existing software). Many of these assignments involve support for existing projects and completing Small Project Requests.
