Upholstery Our upholsterers can recreate complete interior upholstery exactly as original including correct seat construction using period materials. We have excellent resources for sourcing hides and fabrics of all colours and patterns. We can evaluate and, if needed, completely rebuild an engine. This can include rebuilding and recreation of any component necessary to make an engine perform better than new. In addition to engines, our qualified mechanics can rebuild transmissions, rear axles, brake systems and steering mechanisms of virtually any year, make and model. A full machine shop allows us to produce CAD drawings for water jet, laser cutting or any machining process, and our experienced machinists can produce custom components to exacting specifications.</p><p>Testing Our state of the art chassis dynamometer allows us to fine tune an engine, verify horse power rating, check transmission and driveline operation and “road test” a vehicle in any weather condition allowing us to test and continue our restoration process all year round. </p><p>Parts Sourcing Obtaining parts for rare classics can be downright impossible for even the most knowledgeable collector. These experts are capable of building complete body panels, fenders and frames with virtually invisible seams. </p><p>Woodworking RM Auto Restorations houses a modern woodworking shop where body frames are artfully repaired or reconstructed. Our skilled craftsmen can recreate or repair carved interior trim moldings using original exotic woods sourced from around the globe.</p><p>Paint Our modern paint department will restore the allure of your classic with a fresh paint job in a period correct color or a unique custom shade.
