Outlined Below Is the 2-Step Process for Setting up Your Account with OSPI

<p> Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction</p><p>Welcome to the e-Cert 2.0 </p><p>Outlined below is the 2-step process for setting up your account with OSPI</p><p>Hint: Have your SS# available before you start this process</p><p>STEP 1: Go to: https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us</p><p> First time users click “Create an Account” tab  Username: Must be valid email address. DO NOT USE YOUR STUDENT EMAIL ACCOUNT. Use an account you plan to keep for a long time.  Password: Passwords must be at least 8 characters long, contain at least: one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one symbol.  Are you or do you intend to be an educator: This is the first question, make sure you answer YES!  Complete Profile Information: This is standard demographics information, name, address, etc.  Final Question is “Request Application Roles”: Click “Not now” Your profile will be designated the “role” of “educator” automatically. This process can take up to a day.</p><p>STEP 1: THE NEXT DAY - Go to: https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us Click “Sign In” tab  Enter Username and Password  The next screen will allow you to “Manage your account information”  Select: “View my applications”  Select: “E-Certification”  Complete the 3 screens to confirm and add to your profile information</p><p>Done for now!</p><p>In the Future you will be able to:  Check certificate, permit, and application status  Apply for teacher certification  Receive notifications regarding the need to take action  Reissue residency teacher certificates  Request duplicate copies of educator certificates For questions: (360) 725-6400 [email protected]</p>
