A visitor is any person, not already a registered student or an employee of the University, who has been invited on to the University campus or whose arrival, even if unexpected, will be welcomed.</p><p>2. Any person visiting a School within the University must be registered on the EPS Faculty Visitor’s Register. A Visitor Register Form should be completed as soon as confirmation is received that the prospective visitor is coming to the University. If the visitors home address and/or address whilst at the University are not available at the time of completion they should be added later. Schools may charge a fee for attendance, which will go into the Schools reserve account. It is the responsibility of the School hosting the visitor to ensure that any fees are collected.</p><p>3. Applications for other titles eg Visiting or Honorary Professor, Reader, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer or Research Fellow should be made on the relevant form that can be obtained from the Human Resources Office.</p><p>4. This completed Visitors Register form should be returned to the Human Resources Office, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Room B9, Sackville Street Building. A letter will be sent to the visitor to confirm that they are invited to the School and they will then be able to obtain a visitors card from the Human Resources Office on production of this letter.</p>
