
<p> GRENDON PARISH COUNCIL</p><p>The Minutes of the Meeting of Grendon Parish Council held at 7.15pm on Tuesday, 9th February 2016 in the Community Centre, Boot Hill, Grendon</p><p>Present: D B Cox P Swift I Bates M Hammersley</p><p>Also Present: A Wright R Young, Clerk to the Council</p><p>------</p><p>1) APOLOGIES</p><p>Apologies for absence were received from J Winckles.</p><p>2) DECLARATION OF INTEREST</p><p>Councillors D Cox and I Bates declared an Interest in relation to any matters concerning Grendon Community Centre. Other Declarations to be made when the relevant item is discussed. </p><p>3) MINUTES</p><p>It was proposed, seconded and agreed that the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 12th January 2016 be approved as a true and correct record. </p><p>Resolved: </p><p> That the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 12th January 2016 be approved as a true and correct record.</p><p>4) MATTERS ARISING</p><p> a) Travellers Site</p><p>D Cox reported that Warwickshire County Council have approved the Hartshill site, but this could be the subject to a judicial review. </p><p>------1 D Cox Chairman b) Wheelie Bin Stickers</p><p>Awaiting delivery. </p><p> c) Website</p><p>The Clerk reported the process of the host company including the Minutes on the website had commenced. The Chairman gave an update regarding communications from G Griffiths. </p><p> d) Flooding</p><p>A Wright reported that funding had been found for the Property Protection Flooding Scheme. D Cox gave a detailed review of the drainage system in the area. </p><p> e) M.P. Surgeries</p><p>D Cox reported that M.P. Surgery notices had been displayed on Noticeboards and included in the Parish Newsletter. </p><p> f) Footpath 114</p><p>This matter to be reviewed at the March 2016 meeting. </p><p>5) PLANNING</p><p> a) Planning Applications Received</p><p> i) PAP/2014/0483 and MIA/2016/0001 Land east of Grendon House Farm, Warton Lane, Grendon Non-material amendment to PAP/2014/0483 dated 14th November 2014 relocations of containers, reduce length of container, relocation of access gate and structural composition to access track. </p><p> ii) PAP/2016/0036 17 Carts Lane, Grendon External wall insulation to all elevations in neutral colour. </p><p> b) Planning Decisions</p><p> i) PAP/2015/0761 26 Green Lane, Grendon Two storey front extension and loft conversion. Permission Granted</p><p>------2 D Cox Chairman ii) PAP/2015/0729 Woodlands Farm, Waste Lane, Grendon Display of advertisement consent. Application Refused</p><p> iii) DOC/2014/0086 and PAP/2014/0483 Land south of Dairy House Farm, Spon Lane, Grendon Application to Discharge Conditions. Permission Granted</p><p> iv) MIA/2016/0001 and PAP/2014/0483 Land East of Grendon House Farm, Warton Lane, Grendon Non-material amendment to PAP/2014/0483 dated 14th November 2014 relocations of containers, reduce length of container, relocation of access gate and structural composition to access track. NWBC – Notice of Area Forum North scheduled for Thursday, 11th February 2016. NWBC – Meeting between the Borough Council and Town and Parish Council to be held on Thursday, 28th January 2016 at Newton Regis Village Hall, Austrey Lane, Newton Regis. Judith Maudsley – Parish Councillor liability post resignation – The Clerk to reply. NWBC – Susan Wilson – Atherstone Neighbourhood Plan – Designation of Neighbourhood Area – The Chairman, D Cox, commented that Whittington was located within the Grendon Parish. PCC for Warwickshire – Update. Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council – Site Allocations and Development. </p><p>------3 D Cox Chairman</p><p>7) ANY OTHER BUSINESS</p><p> D Cox reviewed the correspondence received from W Reid. </p><p> Flagpole. </p><p> It was proposed, seconded and agreed a Flagpole (wall fitting – 20ft) should be purchased and fitted to the Community Centre wall. </p><p>Resolved: </p><p> To purchase a Flagpole.</p><p> Councillors to consider a celebration day for the Queen’s 90th birthday on 21st April 2016. M Hammersley suggested a games day for youngsters on Saturday, 23rd April 2016. </p><p> M Hammersley gave details of a Parishioner who suggested the following:-</p><p> Removal of trees on A5.
