<p>Safe,Press efficient, Release decentralized networking of 62 drives</p><p>SEW-EURODRIVE offers new AS-</p><p>Interface option for MOVIMOT ®</p><p>Bruchsal, HANNOVER MESSE trade fair 2016:</p><p>SEW-EURODRIVE is offering the new MLK32A AS-Interface option for its MOVIMOT® decentralized drive solution.</p><p>When MOVIMOT® was launched on the market, the flexible combination of gearmotor and frequency inverter was unique – a milestone for drive technology in decentralized installations. Since then, innumerable MOVIMOT® drives have ensured efficient and reliable operation in materials handling applications and logistics applications all over the world.</p><p>In 2016, SEW-EURODRIVE developed another option for MOVIMOT® specifically for expansive and extremely networked logistics applications: MLK32A. This new MLK32A AS-Interface slave lets you network up to 62 drives (A/B-slave) in an efficient, flexible, and reliable manner. The MLK32A is available with the optional Safe Torque Off (STO) safety function for use in safety zones up to PLd according to EN ISO 13849-1.</p><p>Starting up the AS-Interface is very user-friendly – all the user has to do is parameterize. For this purpose, six speed setpoints and three different ramps for acceleration and deceleration are available locally in MOVIMOT®. Conversions or adaptations can be made quickly and the application continues to run immediately afterwards.</p><p>The AS-Interface (MLK3xA) is completely integrated into the connection box and is now available in three versions:</p><p>1. The MLK30A binary slave: max. 31 AS-Interface stations, two speed setpoints and one ramp Press2. The Release MLK31A double slave: max. 31 AS-Interface stations; can be parameterized using the AS-Interface; multiple speed setpoints and ramps</p><p>3.
