<p> KEITH WEBB MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP</p><p>HISTORY:</p><p>The Keith Webb Memorial Scholarship was established in June 1994 by WIU alum Dan K. Webb in memory of his father, Keith Webb. Dan Webb, a Bushnell native, completed his studies in history at WIU in 1966, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago in 1970. Since 1985, he has been a capital partner and chair of the litigation department in the Winston and Strawn firm in Chicago. In addition to his professional duties, Webb has served on numerous boards and commissions including the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, the Hull House Board of Directors, and Central State Alcohol and Drug Addiction Board of Directors. He was selected as the Man of the Year by both the Anti-Defamation League and the City of Hope Medical Center. He also received the WIU Distinguished Alumni Award in 1992. This scholarship is intended to give assistance to deserving undergraduate students in Pre-Law or Law Enforcement and Justice Administration.</p><p>CRITERIA:</p><p>Applicants for this scholarship should:</p><p>1. Be a major in the School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration and/or have a minor in pre-law 2. Have a 3.2 or higher cumulative grade point average 3. Be in good judicial standing 4. Demonstrate strong potential for career in law or law enforcement and justice administration.</p><p>APPLICATIONS (where available):</p><p>School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration Stipes Hall 403 Western Illinois University Macomb, IL 61455</p><p>TERMS: Awarded annually.</p><p>DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: MARCH 1</p><p>SELECTION PROCESS:</p><p>The recipient will be determined by a committee composed of LEJA faculty and advisors.</p><p>ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Applicants should be committed to a career in law and/or law enforcement and justice administration.
