<p>St Leonards National Junior Golf Championships 2016</p><p>Under 15 & 15 and Over</p><p>Wednesday 27th September 2017</p><p>Competition Information</p><p> Competitors wishing to play a practice round should contact The Links on 01334 466666 to book a tee time 2 weeks in advance, otherwise you may only book the day before play.</p><p> On the day of the competition all competitors must register at the Pilmour Cottage at least 30 mins before their tee time at which time any handicap adjustments should be notified.</p><p> It is hoped there will be a Putting Competition in the practice area and also a Long Driving Competition on the Trackman at the St Andrews Links Golf Academy.</p><p>Competition Rules</p><p> The number of entries in each age group will be limited to 45. Places will be allocated to the lowest handicap players in each age group. All unsuccessful entrants will be informed without delay and their entry fee will be refunded.</p><p> Competitors must enter on an official entry form. Entry forms are obtainable on application or on the St Leonards School website.</p><p> The Director of Golf must receive the completed Entry Form and Entry Fee by 12 noon on FRIDAY 1st SEPTEMBER 2017. Late entries will not be accepted unless there are available tee times</p><p> No trolley pullers or caddies are allowed. If during the Championship a player is injured, the committee may, in exceptional circumstances appoint a trolley puller.</p><p> Parents/Guardians/Relatives may not walk on the fairways or speak to the competitors during play.</p><p> One round of stroke play shall be played with prizes awarded for the lowest net and scratch scores in each age group. In the event of a tie, the positions will be determined by back nine score, last six then last 3 score.</p><p> The committee reserves the right to make any changes to starting times or the method of play which may become necessary in order to overcome difficulties arising during the Championships and to ensure as equitable a result as possible.</p><p> The Championship shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and Local Rules as laid down by the committee.</p><p> Any disputes shall be settled by the committee whose decision will be final. NOTE The U13, U11 and U9 Championships will be held on Friday 27th April 2018 More information regarding these Championships will follow at a later date</p>
