<p>Create a Hero</p><p>In small groups you are to create a fictional character with heroic traits you think are most important. To reveal who your hero is and what they have done that is so heroic, you are to write a newspaper article about an awards ceremony where your hero was presented with a Hero Trophy.</p><p>What to include in your story:</p><p> Who</p><p> What </p><p> Where </p><p> When </p><p> Why </p><p> How More specifically</p><p> The name of your hero</p><p> The name of the award ceremony, who sponsored it, etc…</p><p> Where it was held</p><p> What people have to say about your hero</p><p> Did the town mayor, state governor, etc… speak at this ceremony?</p><p> Reasons why he/she earned hero status.</p><p> Specific details about what this hero did.</p><p> A direct quote from the hero as well.</p><p>Organize this story like one you’d read in the Grand Forks Herald. Have an introduction, body, and conclusion. Use direct quotes. For example, Mayor Moen said, “Emma is the most courageous person in our community.”</p>
