Our task is to design and manufacture a prototype End Effector that will attach to a Power Manipulator located in the Hot Cell of a waste treatment facility currently being constructed at Hanford. Our design must be able to efficiently plug and unplug fluid couplings located within the Hot Cell. We will be presenting and delivering our final design at the UI Engineering Design Expo on April 29, 2005.</p><p>UI Human Powered Vehicle Team Club 2002-2003 Member of the 2002-2003 UI Human Powered Vehicle team that designed and built a tandem recumbent tricycle. We place first in design in competition at Davis, California. I helped design and build the steering and drive system for the bike.
